Q. I need SSL (Secure Certificate). How do I get one?
|
A. First you or your client needs a Unique IP Address which will cost you $39.99 CAD ($30.99 USD) per year. You can buy the SSL from us and we will put it on your client's account. After that, all he/she needs a Secure Certificate. There are many secure certificate providers around. One of the most affordable ones is Instant SSL but we recommend you look around in search engines for secure certificates to get a feeling for what is available and you know your options. We or you can also contact them and purchase a secure certificate from this site.
Before we order the Secure Certifcate we need to create a CSR key to provide to the InstantSSL or Secure Certificate seller at time of purchase. After purchase InstantSSL or the Secure Certificate seller will provide a Secure Key to us and then we can install it on the account requesting SSL. Then anyone can access the site using https://. Please Note: there is different between SSL for domain.com and www.domain.com. For better service and support we can create a subdomain (i.e. http:// subdomain.yourdomain.com ) for the user and order the SSL for that subdomain. Usually "secure" is the best option. So the secure site will be https://secure.yourdomain.com. |
Q. What currencies can I pay in? |

You only need to keep paying your domain annual fees to continue receiving this service If you have existing domain name, it can also be hosted by Doteasy however it is subject to a $35.00 transfer hosting fee. Q. Do you offer credit facilities?

Q. How do I FTP into my account? |
A. To transfer files or browse through your directory using FTP, you need to connect with an FTP client to hostname ftp.your_domain_name.com or (replace "your_domain_name.com". Use port 21, and login with your account username and password.

| Q. How do I set-up my email account in Netscape Mail? |
A. Follow these steps:
(1) Open Netscape Browser.
(2) Move to the "Edit" drop down menu and select "Preferences."
(3) From the "Left Menu" select "Mail and Newsgroups", then click the + symbol, which displays a list of options. Select "Identity." Enter the "email address" of the account you're setting up, and "your name".
(4) From the "Left Menu", select the "Mail Servers" tab and enter your appropriate information. Make sure to use the "full Email Address" of the account you're setting up as the "username." When finished, click "ok."
(5) Configure your "Outgoing Mail Server", settings that correspond to your domain name, and as demonstrated in the following example. Click "OK" when finished.
